It is the 18th day of the new year! How did that happen?!?!?

In my last entry I told you that one of my Christmas gifts from Troy was the game Peggle. It is an addicting game. I guess that is where some of the time has gone.

Peggle reminds me of the old fashioned pinball games and the "Plinko" game on tv game show "The Price is Right". The object of the game is to hit and eliminate all of the orange dots and dashes on the screen. You control the direction of the release of the ball and try to figure the best place to release for the maximum ball action. Then the ball bounces around off the game pieces around the field until it reaches the bottom of the screen. If your ball goes in the moving basket at the bottom of the screen, it goes back in your shooter for replay.

There are green pieces that when hit provide assistance for play. And every fifth level the type of assistance changes. Some of these are: extra ball, ball guide, fire ball and more. If you remove all the orange pieces before you run out of balls you win the round with bonus points. If you don't remove all the orange pieces, you can play the level again and again until you do. However, the bonus points decrease with each attempt until there are no bonus points won.

I have to say this is a good game at the end of a hard working day. It allows you to play without having to strain the brain. If you need that at the end of your work day, give Peggle a try. Let me know what you think of this game. I hope you enjoy!

Peggle is available for Mac and Windows.
