Springy shoes bug?

I noticed when I activated the springy shoes that the little countdown bar (or whatever you call it) in the upper left corner starts about halfway. Other gadgets like the x-ray glasses start with a full bar. Is this a bug? Are the shoes only supposed to last half as long?

Yes, that is a bug. It should be fixed in the upcoming v1.01 patch.

Some gadgets last longer than others - namely the x-ray glasses and night vision goggles. The time range on that bar wasn't being initialized properly.
