Dirk2 Character Sketches

Sorry, it's been over a week since I posted my last blog entry. I had promised some character sketches from Dirk Dashing 2, and then I got busy doing some add-ons for Fashion Cents Deluxe. :o

Today, I've got two character sketches to share with you. I have more, but I'm not ready to reveal them yet. At this point, all of the characters are in the concept stage. Except for the two characters I am going to show you, I haven't decided for sure which characters will make it into the game. But these two are definitely in.

First up, we have this interesting character. He is a security guard in a fictional company. The company plays a major role in the story, so you will see a lot of these guys throughout the game:

Next up is one of the new robots. This particular one crawls along the ceiling and shoots at Dirk when he runs underneath it.

I'm looking forward to animating these two characters to life and bringing them to life for the game! What do you think of these characters?

Those sketches look great! Maybe the guard should have a hat or name tag that says "Acme" :D

I'm very anxious to see how you are going to animate the other character.

That first guy looks like a secret service agent. Awesome! I'm getting really excited about the sequel. Can't wait to see more!

I like these drawings. They fit right in with the ones from the first game. It's neat collecting all the little clues from your posts too, like the tip about the fictional company.
