You may have noticed that I haven't added too many new games to the site in the past few weeks. This is partly due to the Christmas break. But it is also partly because I haven't seen many new games through my affiliate channels that I can or would want to add to my site.
Many of the new hidden object games are very dark with creepy themes. I haven't seen many that look very family-friendly.
There seem to be fewer and fewer puzzle and time management games released anymore.
Children's games, like those featuring Dora, Diego, etc, aren't released very often - at least, not through channels where I can acquire them.
I haven't seen many new indie games for PC, Mac, and Linux that are family-friendly. Of those that are, it seems like most are bring released on the iPhone and iPad.
Many of the newer Linux games are being sold by developers through PayPal, which unfortunately doesn't have an affiliate program that lets me acquire them. That's why there haven't been any new Linux games for quite some time.
Bottom line: I'm still keeping my eyes open for new games that I can add to the site. Watch my home page, RSS feed, or Twitter account for news about new games. Meanwhile, I'll keep working diligently on Dirk Dashing 2 for you!
