Basilisk Games announced today that they are working on an expansion pack for Eschalon: Book II (http://www.mygamecompany.com/Products/Other/eschalonbook2.htm)!

This expansion pack adds 5-10 hours of gameplay, and will be available free-of-charge to customers. The extra content will be bundled with the v1.05 release of the game, which is scheduled for October.
I'm excited! I've been wondering for months what lies at the bottom of those stairs in the Farrock Caves that the game won't let you descend. Now we'll get to find out!
The developer also said that the new areas that you will be able to explore are designed for higher level characters. I think that's a good thing. It seems like you just get your character built up strong with lots of impressive skills and powers, and then the game is nearly over. This will be a great opportunity to play with your more powerful characters and pit them against some new challenges. Bring it on!
