We've donated a Linux copy of "Dirk Dashing: Secret Agent!" to Linux Gaming World (http://www.linuxgamingworld.com/) as part of their first contest. You can read about the details on their web site here (http://www.linuxgamingworld.com/?q=node/219).

Linux (http://www.linux.org/), of course, is the open source operating system that was developed by Linus Torvalds with the assistance of many volunteers around the world. We use Linux on all of our computers here at My Game Company, because we find it is faster and more secure than Windows. We don't have any problems with adware, spyware, or viruses, and operating system updates typically go very smoothly. I like the fact that my Linux computer is always reliable and secure, and I feel like I can get so much more work done on it than on my old Windows computer.

The main drawback to Linux is the limited selection of games that are available. However, we are helping to correct that problem by providing Linux versions of our games. Our games run natively on Linux, without the need for any third-party emulators or virtualization software. We provide an easy-to-use installer for our Linux games, which run on nearly all recent Linux distributions.

We're happy to support Linux, and we're delighted to partner with Linux Gaming World to help bring awareness of commercial games to the growing community of Linux users!

My family uses Linux (mainly because I refuse to use Windows), and we sure appreciate the fact that you support Linux. Thanks, and thanks for making such good games!
