I just finished playing a beta of the upcoming game, Revenge of the Titans! I'm really excited about it. I've been a fan of this particular indie developer's games, and this one is going to be a lot of fun!
Revenge of the Titans is the sequel to Titan Attacks (http://www.mygamecompany.com/Products/Other/titanattacks.htm), the greatest Space Invaders tribute ever! (If you've never played it, you have no idea what you're missing - the developer took the basic concept of Space Invaders and cranked it up a hundred notches, giving it a wide variety of foes with unique capabilities, lots of different weapons and upgrades, cool bonuses to earn, etc - but I digress). The new sequel is nothing like Space Invaders. This time, they've taken the basic tower defense style of game and done to it what they did with Space Invaders - lots of enemy types, weapons & units you can build, etc. One thing I really like is the huge technology tree you can research, which should add a lot of replayability since you can't possibly research everything in a single game. And of course, the game features their signature style of cool retro graphics.
Revenge of the Titans should be available very soon now. The game will support Windows, Mac, and Linux.
We'll let you know as soon as the game is ready!
