Dirk Dashing v1.05 Released!

My Game Company is pleased to announce the release of Dirk Dashing v1.05 for Windows, Mac, and Linux. This is a minor release that solves some reported bugs and provides a couple of improvements:


Fixed lockup when resuming a game that was saved while Dirk was throwing a grenade
Fixed grenades falling straight down when rapidly hitting throw key/button repeatedly
Fixed unresponsive Next and Previous buttons on Instruction screens
Fixed texture color glitch on archway of cave openings
Compressed sound effects to reduce download size
Minor performance improvements
Brand new installer for Windows

Excellent! I'm glad the grenade throwing issue was fixed (bullet #2). I lost count of the number of times I was killed because of that. When you get in the heat of battle and your pounding on the fire key, you don't want your grenades to just drop at your feet! :confused:

No exciting new features, but I for one am glad to see the developers continuing to make improvements. Kudos! Eagerly waiting for a sequel...

Hey Troy,
Just wanted to let you know that if you sent out the DD fix we did not receive it. I just happened to notice there had been some upgrades to some of the games that we had not gotten and am trying to get all of the fixes in place. Thanks.
