Our Review
This is a cross between an
adventure game (in which you explore, talk to other characters, and perform
quests) and a strategy/sim game (in which you slowly build your caravan, conquer
enemies, and strengthen your business). You can choose from one of six characters to start with,
each with their own individual storyline and their own specific powers. This provides a lot of replay value.
The game is mostly family-friendly, but we rated
the game Teen due to some mild language. We didn't see any explicit words
during the trial; however, the game substituted "bleeping" in place
of one expletive and it substituted a dash in place of a single letter in
another bad 4-letter word. Combat appeared pretty clean - there are no
depictions of bloodshed or gratuitous violence. Characters that are killed
disappear in a puff of smoke, and damage caused by blows is shown as a brief
flash of light. Overall it is a fun game that we recommend trying if you
enjoy adventure or strategy/sim games!
