My Review
Although
the game has distinct time management and match-3 elements, it
combines them in an interesting way. The game is split into two
regions. On the left are customers and their orders, and on the
right is the playing field where you work to cook their orders. As
you swap ingredients, you activate the stove tiles underneath. You
must then click and drag the food that the customers order and fit
it into the active tiles on the stove. As a result, the gameplay
alternates between matching tiles and fitting food onto the grill.
And like other time management games, you must do this quickly so
you don't lose customers. As you complete the levels, you earn
money to upgrade your restaurant with new recipes, power-ups, and
decorations. There are also a variety of mini games sprinkled
throughout to break up the gameplay. Kudos to the developer for
doing something different than most time management of match-3
games!
