Our Review
This game
reminds me a little of "Asterix and Obelix", one of my
favorite comics growing up. It is a pretty fast-paced strategy
game with many more options than first appears on the surface. You
can try to play this game like Risk and overwhelm your enemy with
sheer numbers, which will work in the early levels, but in later
levels you need to start fortifying and building upgrades so you
can get more powerful weapons. Some of the weapon upgrades are
hysterical - for example, you can upgrade a village to produce
Frankenstein monsters, which you can then unleash on neighboring
villages! Casualties are shown as little angel wings that float
upward from the battle, so there is no graphic violence. The only
questionable content that we saw was the quotes from fictitious
characters between levels - the quotes are humorous, but some of
them may be inappropriate for small children.
