Our Review
This game was the 2004 RealArcade Sports Game of the Year. It is a pretty good bowling game that is remarkably easy to control - just
left-click on the ball, pull the mouse back toward you, and then push it
forward and release the left mouse button to launch the ball. You can then
steer the ball as it rolls down the lane by moving the mouse left or right.
For the most part, this game is very family-friendly. We gave it a teen
rating, however, mainly due to some of the things the commentators say while
you are bowling. For example, on the Lotus Lanes course, one of the
commentators sounds like a Russian agent, and she makes a few mildly
suggestive comments when you are bowling well. Other commentators may make
mildly crude jokes at your expense. Fortunately you can turn off the
commentators if it bothers you. Also, on the Jungle Alley course, there
are some cartoon monkeys that taunt you in various ways, one of which is to
turn around and wiggle their bottoms at you.
