Our Review

This game is the sequel to 2007's hit independent role-playing game, Eschalon: Book I, which is our most popular Teen-rated game and a personal favorite of Troy's. Book II is considerably bigger and better than the first game, and includes over 60 enhancements requested by its fans. The most noticeable improvement is that the game resolution has been increased to 1024x768, making the game's detailed graphics nicely sharp and crisp. Beyond that, there are new snow and rainstorm weather effects, additional skills, improved skill balancing, new difficulty modes, more save game slots, increased inventory size, a key ring, recipe book, and more. This time around, you can even play as a male or female character! Like the previous game, this one is rated Teen due to some mild language that occurs occasionally in the text and mild fantasy violence. If you enjoyed Eschalon: Book I, or you are a fan of turn-based RPGs, give this one a try! You're not likely to be disappointed!
