Our Review
This game is a cross between a
match-3 game and a sim game like My Tribe. You get to build a pirate village,
choosing which kinds of buildings to construct and putting idle pirates to
work. The type of buildings you choose to build determines the kinds of
power-ups that are available to you in the game. You earn money to build by
playing the match-3 games, which are unique in and of themselves. First, instead
of swapping two pieces on the board you must swap a piece on the board with a
piece you are carrying. This makes things a little more interesting. Second,
each level has different story objectives you must meet (matching a particular
kind of piece or turning certain squares a different color). As far as match-3
puzzle games go, we think this is one of the best and most original of them
all. Give it a try and see for yourself!
