Note for 64-bit Linux users:
Adobe AIR is 32-bit. The 64-bit versions of
some distributions, like Ubuntu (Edgy Eft and Feisty Fawn), do not come with
the 32-bit libraries installed by default. If the installer will not start for
you, then you should make sure the 32-bit libraries are installed. In the case
of Ubuntu, this means installing the ia32-libs package.
Some tips from a Linux user: "Adobe's AIR
is 32-bit and relies on some system libraries to function, but since those
libraries are 64-bit, the game won't launch. A fix is to get the 32-bit
version of those libraries - by installing the getlibs program from
here and then doing getlibs -w libgnome-keyring0_2.24.1-0ubuntu1_i386.deb
And getlibs is ok to recommend because Adobe themselves recommend in these
(really long, and in my case, I didn't need them all - just worked) instructions
here"
