President's Corner

Last month, we became certified as a BBB Accredited Business. The BBB, of course, is the Better Business Bureau. We voluntarily submitted our business to a BBB audit, which examined our business to ensure that we meet their accreditation standards. The BBB gave us a rating of “A”, which represents the “BBB’s degree of confidence that the business is operating in a trustworthy manner and will make a good faith effort to resolve any customer concerns.” As a result, we have added the BBB Accredited Business logo to our home page, which links to the BBB report on our company.

We are proud of our BBB accreditation, and we intend to do our best to continue to live up to it!

Sneak Peek of our next game, Fashion Cents: Gents!

While Troy continues working on Dirk Dashing 2, Victoria has been busy designing a sequel to our popular dress-up puzzle game, Fashion Cents! Fans of the game will finally get the chance to dress-up a bunch of guys with tuxedos, top hats, sports gear, handyman clothes and tools, and more!

The game, which is tentatively titled “Fashion Cents: Gents”, will be released later this summer. It features a modified color palette with more masculine colors, like olive green instead of mint green and a new shade of brown instead of magenta. The game will include a brand new smooth jazz soundtrack from The Music Bakery, the same musicians who created the soundtrack for the original Fashion Cents game. Victoria has also added a few gameplay twists for the sequel, which we will be unveiling in our blogs over the coming month. Stay tuned!

The employees of Airways Airlines are an interesting bunch. Their airport is going to be closed if they don't get some help quick! It's up to you to take charge, and get the airport running smoothly. You'll need to lead your employees, and help them learn the skills they'll need to make your airport shine! Renovate the terminal and make it look fantastic. Grow and expand across the world in over five episodes! Check out Now Boarding, and get your airline off the ground!

Our review: This addicting game has already found some fans among our forum members, who have been discussing it for the past week or so. It is a fun game, with elements of both strategy games and time management games. You manage an airline business, which consists mainly of routing planes to pick up passengers and take them to their destinations. Between levels, you can use the money you earn to purchase useful items for the terminal, add new aircraft to your fleet, hire more employees, or expand into new cities around the world. The game gives you a lot of freedom in how you want to grow and develop your airline, which shapes each subsequent level and adds replay value to the game.

Qwak (Mac and Windows) - $19.99 USD

Experience super-playable, coin-op style action in this cute platformer! Collect keys to unlock the exit to the next level, and escape with as many of the goodies in each level as you can. Avoid or defeat the creatures placed there to protect the goodies. A wide variety of power-ups are available to assist you, like eggs ("hen grenades" that you can throw), armor, rocket boots, invisibility potions, and more! Play alone or with a friend (either cooperatively or competitively) in two-player mode.

Our review: This platform game is very cute. The goal of each level is simple: get all the keys to unlock the exit, but this isn’t as easy as it sounds. Every level is a puzzle that requires careful planning and execution to get through it as quickly as possible and with as much treasure as you can collect. One of the more delightful aspects of the game is the ability to play through it with a friend in two-player mode. This mode opens the door for some interesting strategy as you work together to solve the puzzles, but there’s also the chance for some treachery and competition if you choose to leave your friend to handle the dangers alone while you gobble up all the goodies!
