Dear customers and fans,

Thank you for your feedback on our idea for a babies edition of Fashion Cents. We received a wide variety of opinions, from those who are very enthusiastic about the concept to those who would prefer us to move on to new game projects. Some people just want us to focus on making more add-ons for the original game. Others would like to see us port the original game to mobile platforms like iPhone/iPad and Android. And, of course, the Dirk Dashing and Rick Rocket fans want me to do more of those kinds of games.

I still have a lot of work to do to finish Dirk Dashing 2, so it's too early for me to know what I'm going to work on when it's done. That means I'm open to any and all possibilities at this point. So let me know what you want!

I did start looking into the tools I would need to expand onto the iPhone and iPad, and to add my games to the Mac App Store. In order to do those things I need to upgrade my Mac development tools, but the newer tools do not support PowerPC-based Macs (only Intel-based Macs). So I would like to know how many of my Mac users would be affected if I no longer supported PowerPC-based Macs. I've set up a poll on my blog here. If you're a Mac user, please vote. And feel free to leave a comment as well. Your input will help determine what will happen with my new games and game updates for your OS.

Dirk Dashing 2 Production Update

Last month, I reached another major milestone. I finished my 8th level, which means that all of the demo levels are now done! That's 20% of the planned game content!

I've spent the past couple of weeks generating new artwork for the next part of the game. Part 2 of the 5-part story takes place in an all-new environment, so I had to create several new floor and wall textures, background scenery, and various furnishings. I'm now building the first level in Part 2.
