Welcome to our first quarterly newsletter! You're receiving this e-mail because you previously purchased one of our games, or signed up for our newsletter. Either way, we're thankful for your interest in our games, and we're pleased you are enjoying them.

Our newsletter has one goal: to let you know what is happening with our games, so you can enjoy them to the fullest. So sit back, relax, and spend a few moments reading up on the latest developments for your favorite games.

Production begins for Dirk Dashing 2!

Dirk Dashing: Secret Agent! has become our best selling game, and the sales each month continue to surpass the previous month's sales. Many of you have written to ask us for a sequel, and we heard you! This past month on our President's Blog, Troy Hepfner announced that we are currently working on Dirk Dashing 2, and he unveiled some of our plans for the game, including a screenshot of the working title screen.

Troy has already started posting samples of some of the game art and dropped some hints about the game in his blog. Check his blog frequently, where you can follow our progress. You'll find his blog at: http://www.mygamecompany.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=17.

Troy has also opened the door for fans to contribute to the game's design. Fan-made Fashions for Fashion Cents Deluxe

On March 21, we released the free Fashion Designer Kit for Fashion Cents Deluxe, allowing you to create your own custom add-ons for the game. Aspiring fashion designers can draw their own clothes and upload them to our forum to share with other players.

Several artists have already begun to upload many interesting new add-ons for Fashion Cents Deluxe, as you can see from these samples:

There are many other fan-made items too, including kittens, bridal wear, sleepwear, a chef's outfit, and more!

The Fashion Designer Kit contains instructions for not only creating your own clothes, but also for how to download and install these fan-made items into your own game. Community Forums

In January, we revised our web site with a new design, and we added a forum to allow you to interact with the staff here at My Game Company, as well as your fellow gamers. Forum members have been sharing their hints and tips, getting answers to questions they have about our games, and sharing their favorite game experiences.

The forums are open for all guests to read, but if you want to participate in discussions about our games, vote in our weekly polls, comment on our blog entries, download fan-made add-ons, and engage in other forum activities (like future contests and other events), you must sign up for membership.

Forum membership is free. Membership helps us minimize spam and keep our forums family-friendly and clean of objectionable content. That's the only reason we require membership.

To sign up as a member, we only require two items of personal information: your age (which we need to comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) here in the United States), and your e-mail address (which is only used to during the signup process to confirm that you are who you say you are). You don't even have to use your real name for your forum user name. Any personal information you provide will remain confidential and will not be shared with anyone. We will not abuse it or use it for any other purpose than that stated above.
